AIIA specializes in promoting and practicing effective apologetics in New England and beyond. Our mission is to present an intellectually credible and persuasive case for historic Christian faith, to assist the Church in doing the same, and to promote understanding and goodwill between Christians and those espousing non-Christian worldviews.
Apologetics isn’t for arguers. It is for you. The issues may be settled in your own mind, but your children are still forming their beliefs about what is true and what is false. God has no grandchildren. You cannot pass your relationship on to them. They need to genuinely meet Him and place their faith in Him themselves. Christianity is increasingly under attack, and your children need to be able to defend their faith against those who would try to undermine it. Apologetics might not affect your faith, but it will most likely affect your children’s. Apologetics is for mothers of physical children. It is for mothers of adopted children. It is for mothers (like me, Hillary) of spiritual children. Rise up ladies.
Ligonier Ministries exists to proclaim, teach, and defend the holiness of God in all its fullness to as many people as possible. To that end, Ligonier’s outreach today is manifold and worldwide. Having been founded by Dr. R.C. Sproul in 1971, Ligonier’s teaching fellowship consists of theologians, pastors, and scholars who teach through Renewing Your Mind broadcasts, the Reformation Study Bible, Tabletalk magazine, books, and hundreds of teaching series. The ministry also offers an undergraduate degree program through Reformation Bible College.
CrossExamined.org is a non-profit ministry started in 2006 that conducts dynamic I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist seminars on college campuses, churches, and high schools. Led by Frank Turek and other Christian apologists, CrossExamined.org exists to address the problem that 3-out-of-4 Christian youth leave the church while in college, many because they are intellectually skeptical. In addition to I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist, CrossExamined.org presenters address other topics faced by young people today.
J. Warner has appeared on television and radio, explaining the role that evidence plays in the Christian definition of “faith” and defending the historicity of Jesus, the reliability of the Bible and the truth of the Christian worldview. Jim also speaks at churches, retreats and camps as he seeks to help people become confident Christian case makers. J. Warner’s book, Cold-Case Christianity, provides readers with ten principles of cold case investigations and utilizes these principles to examine the reliability of the gospel eyewitness accounts. In God’s Crime Scene, he investigates eight pieces of evidence in the universe to make the case for God’s existence. In Forensic Faith, J. Warner makes the case for a more reasonable, evidential Christian faith.
